The odd page

  Why the odd page?  A friend challenged me to do a reading blog.  The thing is - I'm not sure I'm a normal reader. I'm the sort who likes Grace Livingston Hill, not for the slightly absurd plots (okay, since my mother was laughing at them, maybe more than slightly), but for the historical details therein. It isn't historical fiction, which makes it all the cooler, especially since the decades when she wrote had a wide range of changes. So be warned, dear reader, if you exist. My tastes are eclectic. I read a wide range, and sometimes I like things for random reasons and sometimes I don't like them for equally random reason. I will try to explain those reasons when I write about books.
